‘LOVE AND SERVE INDIA’ is a registered society with an aim to extend the helping hands and care for the orphans, destitute children, widows and other most vulnerable groups of the society in their transformational development. In the year 2005, in a small way it housed about 25 most vulnerable school going boys providing them with food, accommodation, support education, health care and most importantly inculcating moral and spiritual values right at the tender age to enable them to become good and vibrant citizens of the country.

Over the last few years the strength of the children has increased from 25 to 80 boys and girls in two children’s home managed by the society. The boys and girls are gradually improving in their studies, character development and even widening their outlook progressively. Odisha being one of the poorest States in the country, followed by the communal violence against the minority community in the year 2008, the plights of the families have become most vulnerable, even making the conditions of the children worse.

Very often we would receive a phone call or a personal request to take their son or a daughter in to one of the children’s homes. This compelling request is forcing us to expand the ministry of caring for the children to give them a hope and a future. We are delighted to see some like-minded friends and partners’ within and outside of the country are now joining hand in hand in the moment to bring ‘life in all its fullness among children, their families and communities at large. There are many plans and programs envisaged are in the pipeline, especially the building project for the girls’ home that needs multi funding to see the dream coming true.
